About us

etonec is a boutique consultancy based in Berlin, focusing on the intersection of digital identity, digital money (e.g., central bank digital currencies / digital euro, stablecoins, crypto assets), payments, and regulation. We support international clients – from startups to global corporations and central banks – with strategy definition, regulatory compliance, architecture, and product implementation. Our services range from strategy consulting, feasibility studies, and assessments to the development of PoCs, MVPs, fully operational solutions, and even venture building. Our team is made up of leading industry experts with decades of experience in fintech, blockchain, payments, and regulation. Together, we actively shape the future of financial infrastructure, digital identity, and digital money – and we are looking for additional experts to join us on this journey.

 

What you would be doing

You would support our client projects in digital identity and digital money and assist with operational processes. You’ll work closely with our senior experts and gain first-hand experience in one of the most dynamic and forward-looking areas of digital money and identity.

In particular,

• Support client engagements through research, analysis, and presentation preparation

• Contribute to internal projects and operational workflows

• Assist in the creation of deliverables for clients and internal stakeholders

• Operational and administrative support around internal processes

​

What we are looking for​

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field

• Strong interest in financial innovation, digital identity, and digital money

• Excellent analytical and structuring skills, with attention to detail

• A team player with strong communication skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

• Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and take ownership of tasks

• Prior knowledge of payments, digital money, or identity systems is an advantage
